Community guidelines

Community Experiences are short notes about what a specific tattoo placement felt like. They are not a general chat, artist-review system or medical forum.

Keep contributions useful

• Write about your own experience of the selected body area.
• Keep the note under 800 characters.
• Use plain text only.
• Do not include links, advertising or booking promotions.
• Do not include names, contact details or identifying information about other people.
• Do not post private medical information, diagnoses or medication details.
• Do not use the feature to accuse, review or target an artist, studio or other person.
• Do not post abusive, hateful, threatening or illegal content.
• Do not encourage, promote or give instructions for suicide, self-harm, eating disorders, dangerous challenges or harmful substance misuse.
• Do not post pornographic or sexually exploitative content.

Moderation

Written experiences are reviewed before publication. Published notes can be reported and may be removed if they are unsafe, abusive, promotional, off topic or contain personal information.

Ratings stay separate

Your numeric Community Pain rating is stored separately from the written note. A written note can be rejected or deleted without changing the numeric rating you submitted for that body area.
